When you detox, get rid of toxins, physically and mentally, what is left is your true essence. Well functioning organs are essential for that. This Yin Yoga class focuses on the kidney & liver meridians. It revitalises the body through the kidneys - and detoxes the body through the liver. You will end up with more energy.
Through twists, stretches, pressure and long held poses we support the ongoing processes of the organs. As we place in a steady breathing, supported inversions and slow movements, the nervous system switches from alert to restful. When the nervous system is calm, the healing, digesting and detox starts.
Expect an afternoon of bliss as we treat you to tea, nuts & dates, healing hands and gorgeous music.

Skønhed kommer indefra og dens udfoldelse hjælper vi på vej i denne workshop.
Kroppens primære chakras (de 7 energicentre) aktiveres gennem yin stillinger, åndedræts øvelser og meditation og bidrager til balance i alle de vitale organer. Stagnationer og spændinger løsnes i hele kroppen og ansigtet, og du vil opleve en større indre frihed med kontakt til dit indre ståsted placeret i hjertets fundament.
Når ansigtet inddrages aktivt og bevidst, får vi fat i mange af de små muskler der strækkes og styrkes. Mange oplever færre kæbespændinger og hovedpiner, mindre stress og kvaliteten af søvnen højnes.
Udover yogaens stærke, positive indvirkning på krop og sind bidrager ansigtsyoga blandt andet til en stærkere udstråling med en sundere, opstrammet hud, klare øjne, løftede øjenbryn og færre træthedstegn.
Du tilbydes en lækker økologisk olie til pleje af ansigtet når vi praktiserer ansigtsyogaen, og du får et lille ansigtsyoga hverdagsprogram med hjem.
Workshoppen guides på dansk og der er begrænset antal pladser.

Exploring Headstands with Nynne
Date: Saturday, August 16th
Time: 14.00-16.30
Price: 400dkk (members get 20% off)In this workshop we will work towards and around Sirsasana or Headstand as it is commonly known.
Why do we seek to be upside down? What does it bring out in us? And how does inverting in this way enhance our practice and change our perspective?
We will flow through sequences that will prepare us physically and mentally for our peak posture and explore what sometimes blocks our path towards inversions. There will be plenty of options for different variations and we will play with different ways in and out of Sirsasana.
Towards the end we will counter with some grounding postures and finish with a nourishing meditation and Savasana
This workshop will be open to all levels and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and experiment individually.

Deep Care & True Strength with Kristina & Nynne

This workshop spans over 4 hours on Saturday and is taught by 2 seasoned teachers.
The workshop aims at creating space, flow, alignment and liberation. The first portion of the workshop holds Vinyasa Yoga as a foundation and the second will turn in the direction of Yin Yoga.
Firstly you are guided with competence and skill into back bends of different depths and intensity - allowing body and mind to open and trust the process. Being specific in the approach regarding method, pace and order you will find into back bend asanas like never before.
Secondly we turn inwards - landing in a place where we can soften, let go and settle in. Through a Yin Yoga approach we nourish the area of the chest, shoulders, neck and upper back . Harmonizing ourselves by focusing on the physical area of the heart as well as the emotional and energetic.
This workshops offers supporting hands, competent guidance and advanced knowledge from 2 teachers.

Softening into Peace // A Restorative Immersion with Mie

Through restorative yoga poses, soft stretches and deeply supported relaxation your body will be able to let go completely - and so will your overthinking mind. During the immersion you will be wrapped in sound healing that relaxes your nervous system and Mie will be pointing you towards your innate mental health and well-being.
Do you know what becomes possible when you stop over-thinking yourself through life? You open up to more possibilities, you fine-tune your ability to listen deeply to the information in the now (rather than trying to figure it all out with your intellect) and you simply soften so you can enjoy more, live more, be more - present - NOW.
During the immersion Mie will come around with soothing lotion massaging your neck and shoulders and will be guiding you into even deeper relaxation with hands-on healing. As your body and mind relax there will be space for insights to land from a deeper place that can have transformative ripple infects for the better into your everyday life.

Efterårsreflektioner - en Yin Yoga workshop

`Vi glemmer, men kroppen husker’
Vi befinder os i overgangen fra sensommer til efterår, og følger vi filosofien bag yin yoga, er det i denne tid vi blandt andet fordøjer den seneste tids oplevelser og sorterer i det der er mindre hensigtsmæssigt for os.
Der er mange gode grunde til at koble det på kroppens 3. chakra ’manipura’ (kroppens center: solar plexus), fordi området har med vores ’mavefornemmelse’ at gøre og vores åndedræt hvor vi borteliminerer affaldsstoffer. Det 3. chakra har nemlig en stærk forbindelse til den store åndedrætsmuskel og psoas musklen (som forbinder over- med underkrop) og derfor vil åndedrætspraksis og dybe stræk der aktiverer kroppens center, indgå i forskellige varianter på workshoppen.
I stillingerne møder du det kroppen har gemt til dig, skaber forløsning og en mere optimal balance i din evne og dit mod til handling, med bedre adgang til din visdom og din livsappetit. Du vil opleve en kombination af yin stillinger, meditation og åndedrætsøvelser.
Du går herfra med større indre ro, en bedre balance mellem krop og sind, mulighed for plads til fornyelse, en god energi til at bevæge dig videre ud i livet med større personlig gennemslagskraft og ikke mindst en blødere krop.
