It is essential to teach our nervous system to release tension, stress, fear and anxiety and to take in energy and vitality. This workshop will empower you to reset and face any challenges life might throw your way.

In the yin practice we hold asana positions for longer than in other yoga practices. This is to stretch deeper into our connective tissue which has a unique calming effect on our nervous system.

Through guided breathing techniques, pranayama, we can shift our level of energy and transcend any negative emotions. You will be taught techniques that have calming as well as energising effects.

Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation practice that settles the practitioner into the ultimate state of ease and stillness. Known to heal trauma, stress and anxiety the practice of Yoga Nidra is highly relevant when focus is the stabilisation of the nervous system.

  • Spring Renewal Yin Yoga Workshop

Date: Saturday, April 12th Time: 15 - 17 Price: 400dkk ( members get 20% off) After a winter rest, the power of springtime surges through nature - and through us. Spring is an expression of life at its strongest. In spring, those aspects of us that have been dormant over the winter months begin to awaken.

Just as nature enters a cycle of renewal, growth and expansion—so does the energy within us. In traditional Chinese medicine, wood is the energy of spring and the Wood element represents the liver and the gall bladder. This is the season to plant seeds for a future harvest, to look ahead and make new plans, formulate new ideas, make decisions, and determine our direction for the coming year - and to take action.

In this workshop we are celebrating the season of spring and all the life that so obviously unfolds arounds us!

This gives os access to the Chinese wisdom around this season and what it represents and asks of us, the qualities that harmony in wood element brings forth and how we can support ongoing detox and renewal processes through Yin yoga poses - where the focus is the liver and gallbladder. These organs are regarded as the main organs for cleansing and detoxifying the body.
